Meet the Baades:

Everyone meet Ryan and Ryan Baade (yes, you read that right)! They have lived in Teller County since 2012 and were members at Woodland Fitness for 6 years before making the move to ownership. This is the place where their love for the community and fitness really blossomed and making this purchase seemed like a great fit!.

Since becoming the gym owners in 2018, the Baades have put their heart and soul into making Woodland Fitness the premier place in Woodland Park to workout. Giving the building a facelift through new equipment, elevated staff and super high morale. But they aren’t done yet- Woodland Fitness is getting better every day- and we want you to join. Are you in?

  • Hi everyone, my name is Gina Pieffer. I am a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and mother of 4. I strongly believe that movement, exercise, and overall health are valuable gifts that should be cultivated and nurtured. I pursued my passion for exercise science in college and continued to learn and grow through continuing education and certifications in group fitness, cycling, barre, yoga, and advanced personal training.

Exercise has played a significant role in my life, allowing me to play collegiate soccer, dance professionally, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. It has also been instrumental in overcoming life- altering knee injuries that resulted in 13 knee surgeries, enabling me to walk normally, exercise, and instruct group fitness despite what doctors predicted.

I genuinely care about each of my clients, whether they're athletes looking to enhance their performance, everyday superheroes striving to reach personal goals, or individuals recovering from an injury. I understand that every person has a specific goal and I work hard to customize each workout to help them achieve it. I take pride in being a part of my clients' journeys towards becoming stronger, fitter, and more confident.

  • Eve began delving into her fitness career comprehensively in 2002 after receiving a full ride NCAA soccer scholarship. She obtained a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a minor in Coaching. During this time, Eve advanced her practical knowledge of specificity training, physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics, while training tri-athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. Throughout college, Eve applied and solidified her knowledge through individualized coaching and training of multiple athletes on and off campus. Upon graduation, Eve obtained a spot on the Colorado Women’s semi-professional soccer team. During the off season, she was Head Leadership Guide for both rafting and training of raft guides at Noah’s Ark Whitewater Rafting Company. Additionally, she worked as an adventure mountaineering guide whereupon she trained fellow employees in functional fitness.

Instructing group exercise classes and training one-on-one became a quick and consistent passion that’s driven every personal and professional endeavor in Eve’s life. She and her husband Tyler, a fellow fitness instructor, continue teaching, coaching, and training. Currently, Eve is certified in 9 internationally recognized group fitness programs, holds Advanced Instructor Modules in 3 of those programs, is an Advanced Fitour Personal Trainer, and has been internationally recognized in those certifications through LesMills Studio Superstars, alongside her husband. It is Eve’s hope that she is able to inspire, educate, and train her four young children and others in understanding and implementing the importance of fitness and overall health and wellness.

  • I started working in the health and fitness industry, as a certified personal trainer, in 2013. It quickly became a passion to help and educate others on becoming the best possible version of themselves. I worked in Orlando FL for 5 years, as a certified personal trainer, coach and state licensed massage therapist. Living in the mountains has always been a dream, so I moved to woodland park in 2018. Having been in the industry for 10 years, I have worked with a variety of clientele. Ranging from Olympic youth wrestlers, MMA fighters and college athletes; to clients who wanted to loose weight/gain muscle, as well as specific injury rehab. My goal is to teach and educate my clients, to have a deep understanding on health and fitness, while learning how to set goals and achieve them. Every client is treated as an individual, with set goals and programs designed specifically for them. Personally I live a very active lifestyle. I enjoy weightlifting, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, and any outdoor activity in the mountains.

  • I have always been into training and nutrition. I have played sports since I was 5 years old, and from about age 12-13, I have taken a bit of training into my own hands. Running hill sprints on my own, using weights my dad got off a job site to get stronger and bigger. During my high school career I was sought after by division I schools to play football. However, after two catastrophic knee injuries, requiring me to play my entire senior season on a torn ACL. Those offers disappeared. I was still able to play football in college and successfully. Winning awards like Conference 1st team defense, and team captain. My passion since then has been to learn more and more about the human body and how to train appropriately, and nurious well to perform at a high level and stay healthy.

I have been studying more formally for almost 10 years on training and nutrition. I have received 10 different certifications in training and nutrition, and received my Master of Science Degree, with a concentration in Strength & Conditioning in 2022. I have developed a very good understanding on how an individual moves, and how to manipulate their training for their desired results. I have developed a functional nutrition lense when it comes to nutrition. Helping individuals with depression, endometriosis, GI distress, to brain fog, implement a plan encompassing nutrition, lifestyle, and supplementation (if necessary), to support their body in healing. While also, aiding them in achieving their fitness/performance goals!
